Post – Consultant Psychiatrist for Adolescent Service – St. Patrick’s Mental Health Services

St. Patrick’s Mental Health Services (SPMHS) is Ireland’s largest independently governed, not-for-profit mental health care service. SPMHS’ community based and in-patient adolescent service provides a national service and accepts referrals from CAHMS teams and G.P.s. Its prestigious adolescent unit is approved with excellence by the Mental Health Commission and QNIC with the concept of the therapeutic milieu central to its belief.

We are currently inviting applications for the following position:

Consultant Psychiatrist, Adolescent Service, SPMHS  (Full time, permanent contract)

Applicants must:
• Have full registration with the Medical Council’s General Register of Medical Practitioners and are a member, or are eligible to be a member, of the Medical Council’s Specialist Register in Psychiatry
• Possess the M.R.C.Psych., M.R.C.P.I. in Psychiatry, or an equivalent qualification
• Have at least seven years’ satisfactory experience (after primary medical qualification) in the practice of the medical profession, of which not less than five have been devoted to Psychiatry
• Hold a specialist qualification and have specialist experience in the treatment of adolescents and eating disorders
